KATHMANDU: The shifting weather patterns in Kathmandu Valley have aligned with the nationwide changes, as forecasted by the Weather Forecasting Division.
The Valley, too, is experiencing sporadic rain in various areas.
According to the Division, the Kathmandu Valley is likely to witness persistent disturbances throughout the day.
Sunshine is unlikely, and there’s a possibility of light rain, the Division said.
The minimum temperature in Kathmandu Valley has increased, reaching 12.7 degrees Celsius at 5:45 am on Sunday morning.
The increase in temperature is attributed to cloud cover during the night, although there was no precipitation.
Saturday recorded a minimum temperature of 12 degrees Celsius in the Valley.
The Division has projected a decrease in the maximum temperature for today due to the absence of sunlight and the likelihood of intermittent light rain.
