Kathmandu Valley witnesses a gradual rise in temperature



KATHMANDU: The minimum temperature in Kathmandu Valley has increased to 7 degrees Celsius as of Thursday morning, accompanied by a light breeze.

According to the Weather Forecasting Division, the breeze will gradually diminish after 10 am.

The visibility in Kathmandu Valley this morning was 4 km.

The morning weather in Kathmandu Valley remained primarily clear with no clouds, according to Division.

The clear conditions will persist throughout the day, stating that there is no expected change in weather or precipitation today.

Meanwhile, based on the measurement at 5:45 am today, the minimum temperature in the Valley was 7 degrees Celsius, slightly higher than the 5.6 degrees Celsius recorded on Wednesday.

Last Friday, Kathmandu Valley experienced a winter rain of the year, resulting in a minimum temperature drop to 3.5 degrees Celsius and a maximum temperature decline to 19.4 degrees Celsius.

The maximum temperature in Kathmandu Valley today is expected to remain from 22 to 24 degrees Celsius.
