Foreign Secretary Lamsal leaves for India



KATHMANDU: Foreign Secretary Sewa Lamsal has left for India today to participate in the eighth Asia Economic Dialogue (AED-2024).

A Nepali delegation headed by Foreign Secretary Lamsal will participate in the inaugural session of the event to be held in Pune, India from February 29 to March 2.

During the visit, the delegation will hold a bilateral meeting in New Delhi with Foreign Secretary of India Vinay Mohan Kwatra, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The Asian Economic Dialogue is a multilateral conference held on annual basis.

The Ministry of External Affairs of India and Pune International Centre have jointly hosted the conference.

Representatives from different countries are participating at the programe where discussions will be held on contemporary affairs focusing on the theme “Geo-economic Challenges in an Era of Flux”.

Secretary Lamsal is scheduled to return to Kathmandu on March 1.
