Bidding farewell to legend Bhaktaraj Acharya (In pics)



KATHMANDU: The body of senior singer and composer Bhaktaraj Acharya has been kept at Narya Pratisthan of Music and Drama in Naxal for last rites.

Politicians, singers, musicians, artists and common people are present to pay their last respects to Acharya.

Social activist Anuradha Koirala, senior artist Neer Shah, senior musician Shambhujit Baskota, Nepal Congress leader Bishwaprakash Sharma, comedian Jitu Nepal and others were present to pay their respects.

Acharya, well-known as Bhajan Shiromani, died yesterday on the way to Mediciti Hospital after the oxygen content in his body suddenly decreased.

Family sources informed that Acharya will be cremated today at Aryaghat in Pashupati.
