One dead, five injured in gas cylinder explosion in Bara

KATHMANDU: One man has died and five others have got injured in a gas cylinder explosion in Bara on Monday.

According to DSP Dadhiram Neupane, 45-year-old Resham Magar of Nijgadh-5 was killed in the explosion that took place in the Rohit Workshop.

Five individuals were injured in the incident.

The injured are 45-year-old Surya Bahadur Thapa from Bara-4, Firod Devan and Ritu Rajat from Birgunj-9, Indian citizen 35-year-old Rakesh Jayaswal, and 20-year-old Arvin Shah from Bara.

The injured are undergoing treatment at the Bayodha Hospital.

The incident occurred on Monday around 12:00 pm.
