CoAS Sharma inspects multinational military exercise Shanti Prayas IV in Panchkhal



KATHMANDU: Chief of the Army Staff, Prabhuram Sharma, conducted an overview of the multinational joint peacekeeping exercise Shanti-Prayas IV, currently underway at the Birendra Shanti Training Center in Panchkhal.

During the event, the Chief of the Army Staff actively participated in employee training programs, regional military training, and classroom observation related to capacity development.

He also engaged in interactive sessions with participating soldiers.

The exercise, which commenced on February 20, has seen the collaboration of 1,125 soldiers from 19 countries, including Nepal, working in coordination with the U.S. Global Peace Operations Initiative.

The joint exercise, conducted in collaboration with the Nepali Army and the U.S. Army, is set to continue until March 3.
