CPN-UML holding Central Committee meeting today

To review political and organizational affairs



KATHMANDU: The CPN-UML is holding a meeting of its Central Committee today at the party central office in Chyasal, Lalitpur.

Party General Secretary Shankar Pokharel stated that the meeting, scheduled to run until Thursday, will focus on a comprehensive review of the party’s political and organizational endeavors.

Additionally, discussions will center around the conceptualization of a purification and strengthening program for the party.

The agenda for the meeting encompasses a range of topics, including challenges and resolutions related to party formation, public mobilization, and the ‘agenda’ of public pressure, along with contemporary proposals.

The party’s Secretariat, during its meeting last Thursday, finalized the agenda for the Central Committee meeting.

Furthermore, UML Chairman KP Oli is slated to address the current political landscape in the country during the proceedings of the meeting.
