KAPILVASTU: The harrowing aftermath of the fatal bus accident in Kapilvastu reveals the identities of the victims who lost their lives in the tragic incident.

The bus, operated by Sunaulo Mahakali Transport and bearing the registration Sudurpaschim Pradesh 02-001 B 0098, was en route from Mahendranagar in Kanchanpur to Kathmandu when it met with a catastrophic accident.

At approximately 12:30 am, tragedy struck in Shivaraj Municipality-1 as the bus careened off the road, plummeting nearly 150 meters into the depths of the Surhi river.

The calamity unfolded amidst a terrifying scenario of brake failure, rendering the bus uncontrollable as it crossed the road before plunging into the river below.

Among the 10 victims, seven were male and three were female. The names of the deceased have been identified as follows:
