RSP Chair Lamichhane vows vigilance against inefficiency and power prolongation

KATHMANDU: Rastriya Swatantra Party Chairman, Rabi Lamichhane, has emphasized that Parliament should only be a medium to raise voice of the people and work for them not a means to prolong few leaders days in power.

Speaking to the media after the commencement of the Winter session of the parliament on Monday, the RSP Chair vowed to remain vigil against prospective attempts to make parliament functionless.

He also expressed the view that laws related to the implementation of the constitution should be prioritized and amended to enhance their effectiveness.

Lamichhane highlighted that if the government fails to bring people-centric bills to the Parliament, the RSP lawmakers would themselves introduce private bills.

He affirmed that RSP is committed to making Parliament more accountable and advocated for an influential role in addressing public concerns.
