KATHMANDU: Nepal is currently experiencing the partial influence of westerly winds.

As per the latest report from the Weather Forecasting Division, the weather in the hilly areas of the country is characterized by partial cloudiness, whereas the rest of the country remains predominantly clear.

Some areas in the Terai are encountering rain and fog.

In the afternoon, the weather is expected to clear up in the hilly areas, particularly in Koshi Province, while the rest of the country will experience partly cloudy conditions.

There is a likelihood of light to heavy rainfall in a few locations in the hilly areas of Koshi and Gandaki provinces.

Likewise, some areas in the high hills and Himalayan regions of Koshi province may witness light snowfall, along with a couple of places in the remaining high hills and Himalayan areas.

As night falls, the weather is anticipated to be mostly clear with partly cloudy skies in the hilly areas of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces.

There is a slight chance of light rain in a few places in the hilly areas of Koshi Province, while light snowfall is possible in a couple of locations in the high hills and Himalayan areas of Koshi, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces.
