NA election: Koshi and Bagmati Provinces reach the last leg of voting process



KATHMANDU: The voting process in Koshi and Bagmati Provinces has reached its final stages, with a notable turnout of 91 provincial assembly voters and 262 voters from municipalities and rural municipalities in Koshi Province alone.

The election, which began at 9 AM, witnessed active civic participation.

Krishna Prasad Sitaula, the former Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister of the Nepali Congress, is in the spotlight as the common candidate of the ruling alliance in Koshi Province.

The competition is intensified by Uddav Poudel of RPP, adding a dynamic element to the electoral landscape.

Meanwhile, Bagmati Province reported 99 out of 110 provincial assembly voters and 229 out of 237 voters from municipalities and rural municipalities have exercised their voting rights.

As the voting process is about to conclude, attention now shifts to the anticipation of results and the impact on the political landscape.
