Assistant Sub Inspector arrested with bribe



BUTWAL: An Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) of Police has been arrested red-handed with bribe on Monday.

According to the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA), ASI Prem Bahadur Thapa was arrested with Rs 3,500 kickback he had taken from a hardware owner.

Acting on a tip-off, a team of the anti-graft body deployed from CIAA Butwal office arrested him with the bribe.
