Coalition leaders confer at Baluwatar to discuss NA election seats allocation

KATHMANDU: The top leaders of coalition parties have commenced discussions at the Prime Minister’s official residence in Baluwatar to strategize seat distribution in forthcoming National Assembly (NA) elections.

The session kicked off at 3:30 pm.

Top leaders from Nepali Congress, CPN-Maoist Center, Unified Socialist Party, and Janata Samajwadi Party are engaged in these deliberations.

Prior to this meeting, discussions were held between the top brass of Nepali Congress and the Maoist Center on Tuesday and Wednesday morning. The primary agenda revolved around finalizing seat allocations for the January 25 NA elections.

Post the coalition dialogue, leaders from Nepali Congress and the Maoist Center are slated to engage with CPN-UML leaders at 5 pm today, marking a critical phase in the ongoing discussions.
