Hult Prize at Shanker Dev Campus launches Project Deego, making a meaningful contribution to Kinder House Nepal

KATHMANDU: In a demonstration of its commitment to driving positive change, Hult Prize at Shanker Dev Campus (SDC) introduced Project Deego—a transformative initiative poised to make a lasting impact on society.

The inaugural project unfolded with a heartwarming gesture, as the Hult Prize family at SDC provided educational kits to 40 underprivileged children at Kinder House Nepal in Buddhanilkantha.

This philanthropic endeavor was made possible through the unwavering support of the Shanker Dev Campus Students Union, with special recognition given to Sushant Basnet, the President of FSU, whose dedication played a pivotal role in bringing this initiative to fruition.

The entire donation seamlessly aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) No. 4, underscoring the critical importance of ensuring quality education for all.

The act was orchestrated by key members of Hult Prize at Shanker Dev Campus, spearheaded by Pooja Sharma, the Director of the project.

Alongside her were Nabina Basnet (Business Development Manager), Rohit Mishra (Deputy Director), Shraddha Kafle (Judge Coordinator), Dhiraj Pant (Campus Representative), Abhishek Bashyal (Outreach Lead), and Anil KC (Campus Representative)—a team whose passion for positive change resonated in every step of the process.

The children at Kinder House Nepal not only received educational essentials but also bore witness to the collective spirit of a community dedicated to nurturing a brighter future.

The event underscored the power of collaboration and the positive impact achievable when individuals unite for a shared purpose.

The launch of Project Deego marks the commencement of a journey devoted to addressing societal challenges through tangible initiatives.

As Hult Prize at Shanker Dev Campus continues its unwavering pursuit of positive change, the organization remains steadfast in its commitment to leaving a lasting impact on communities and individuals in need.
