KATHMANDU: Police have arrested 10 people from a gambling den in the capital. They were taken under control when playing cards as gambling at Bhowan Himalayan Height Hotel at Tahachal of Kathmandu Metropolitan City -13 on Tuesday night.
The hotel belongs to 33-year-old Nirmal Pandit, a resident of Maharajgunj, Kathmandu. Pandit is also among those arrested in that connection.
Police mobilized from Police Circle Kalimati also confiscated Rs 55,000, Indian rupees 8,000 and one deck of cards, the Police Headquarters stated.
