Mother-in-law and daughter-in-law found dead in Nawalpur forest

NAWALPUR: Lifeless bodies of a mother-in-law and her daughter-in-law were found in a forest of Nawalpur in eastern Nawalparasi.

Manadevi Paudel, aged 60, and Bishnu Paudel, 28, residents of Nawalpur Binayi Triveni Rural Municipality-1, had gone into the forest on Sunday morning to cut grass, a routine activity turned fatal.

The grim fate of the two women unfolded when their bodies were discovered during a search operation in the community forest near the village last night, as reported by the District Police Office Nawalpur.

Police are currently suspecting a potential wild animal attack as the cause of their untimely demise, highlighting the inherent dangers faced by those who venture into the wilderness.
