RPP Central Committee meeting to conclude today



KATHMANDU: The central working committee meeting of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RRP) is concluding today after an extensive session that began on Sunday.

The meeting, addressing various reports, is expected to wrap up with crucial decisions.

Today’s session will be decisive, according to Mohan Shrestha, the spokesperson and Head of the Publicity Department.

During yesterday’s discussions, the attendees engaged in a group deliberation on key topics.

This included the examination of the political report presented by Chairman Rajendra Lingden, the action plan related to the movement by General Secretary Dhawal Shumsher Rana, the economic report by Treasurer Nilakantha Kafle, and the report concerning the Secretariat presented by Chief Secretary Kedar Bahadur Adhikari.

Shrestha highlighted that a comprehensive review of the current political landscape and future strategies, the action plan for the movement, the economic report, and the secretariat report were divided into separate groups representing all seven provinces.

Emphasizing the collaborative approach, Shrestha mentioned that reports from the group discussions had been submitted to the full meeting.

Senior Vice Chairman Roshan Karki led the discussions in Koshi, Senior Vice Chairman Buddhiman Tamang in Madhesh, Senior Vice Chairman Bikram Pandey in Bagmati, Vice Chairman Hemjung Gurung in Gandaki, Senior Vice Chairman Rabindra Mishra in Lumbini, Vice Chairman Mukundashyam Giri in Karnali, and Sudurpaschim had Uddhav Paudel, the Vice Chairman in the province, coordinating the discussions.
