NEPSE records double digit surge on Sunday



KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) has witnessed a two digit increase in its index on Sunday, the first trading day of the week.

The NEPSE index surged by 27.75 points on Sunday.

The share market closed at 2022.35 points after this significant increase of 27.75 points.

During the day’s transactions, 1,01,128 shares were traded in 295 companies, amounting to a business of Rs. 5,157,846,979.

While the share value of 185 companies increased, 52 observed a decline, and 4 remained constant on the this first trading day of the week.
