KATHMANDU: In a group stage clash of the ACC U-19 Asia Cup currently underway in Dubai, UAE, India secured a commanding victory over Nepal, triumphing by 10 wickets.
Opting to bowl first, India showcased a stellar bowling performance, restricting Nepal to a mere 52 runs, with Raj Limbani shining by taking seven wickets.
In pursuit of the target of 53 runs, India’s opening pair, led by Arshin Atul Kulkarni’s impressive five sixes and one four, achieved victory in just 7.1 overs. Adarsh Singh, his opening partner, contributed 13 runs to the team’s total.
None of the Nepalese batsmen reached double figures, and the bowlers failed to secure any wickets.
This decisive win ensures India’s secure spot in the semi-finals of the tournament, showcasing their dominance in the ACC U-19 Asia Cup.
