Upendra Yadav urges transparency in Ncell share sale case, alleges leadership’s interest

KATHMANDU: Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) Chairman, Upendra Yadav, has demanded transparency in revealing the truth behind the Ncell share sale case.

During the State Order and Good Governance Committee meeting on Friday, Yadav stressed the necessity of public disclosure regarding the political and administrative leadership’s involvement in the Ncell share purchase and sale case.

Yadav highlighted the lack of seriousness in addressing Ncell’s previous tax evasion issues and pointed out apparent political and administrative interests. He advocated for a thorough investigation into the matter.

Similarly, Nepali Congress General Secretary Gagan Kumar Thapa, in the same meeting, alleged significant collusion between political and administrative leaders in the sale and purchase of Ncell shares. Thapa emphasized the committee’s responsibility to seriously deliberate on the issue due to its potential long-term impact.
