KATHMANDU: In light of the upcoming Bala Chaturdashi Festival, the District Administration Office in Kathmandu has imposed a temporary ban on the selling, distribution, production and storage of meat, alcoholic products, and drugs related products in the vicinity of the Pashupatinath Temple.

The prohibition will remain in effect from today until December 13.
