Tanahu accident update: Two die while undergoing treatment



KATHMANDU: Out of the 36 individuals injured in the bus accident on the Prithvi Highway at Ghasikuwa in Vyas Municipality-12 of Tanahu district this morning, two individuals have tragically passed away while receiving medical care.

The deceased have been identified as Hasta Rai, 45, from Saguri Ghadi Rural Municipality-9, and Top Bahadur Magar, 50, whose specific address is yet to be confirmed, as per Mohan Bahadur Khand, Deputy Superintendent of Police at the District Police Office, Tanahu.

Rai succumbed to his injuries during treatment at Ratna Hari Hospital, while Magar passed away at Damauli Hospital.

The bus (Ga 1 Kha 7895) destined for Pokhara from Dharan had veered off the road, leading to the unfortunate incident.

Currentlyy, the injured individuals continue to receive treatment at Damauli Hospital, Ratna Hari Hospital, and some have been transferred to Pokhara for further medical attention.
