Three persons arrested with illegal gold ornaments from Rasuwagadhi checkpoint



RASUWA: Police arrested three individuals with illegal gold ornaments from Rasuwagadhi checkpoint.

They were entering from China to Nepal with illegal gold jewelry worth more than Rs 1.3 lakhs and were arrested by a team of armed police stationed from Timure area police office and a joint team of Rasuwa Customs Office.

According to the police, the market value of the seized gold is Rs 13 lakh 88 thousand 400.

Those arrested are 29-year-old Suresh Tamang, 37-year-old Nima Tashi Tamang, and 23-year-old Nwang Lopsang Tamang of Rasuwa.
