Arun Baral assumes role of Editor-in-Chief at Khabarhub

KATHMANDU: Journalist Arun Baral has taken on the role of Editor-in-Chief at Khabarhub.com, a news portal operated by Pavilion Media Pvt Ltd.

The appointment, effective from November 17, was announced by Pavilion Media Management on Friday.

Naresh Shrestha, Chairman of Khabarhub, extended a warm welcome to Baral during a reception held at Khabarhub’s head office on Darbar Marg.

Chairman Shrestha conveyed his confidence that Khabarhub, under Baral’s leadership, will achieve new heights.

He further disclosed Pavilion Media’s strategic efforts to transform the current challenges into opportunities, indicating plans to expand and diversify the media landscape.

Baral, formerly the Deputy Editor of Kantipur Television, Shrestha said, brings a wealth of experience to his new position.

His editorial background includes roles at onlinekhabar, Ratopati, and Nepal Khabar.

Baral has previously contributed to the editorial teams of Naya Patrika daily and Janastha weekly, commencing his journalism career at Dharan-based Blast Times national daily.

Simultaneously, journalist Sanket Koirala has been appointed as the Editor of Khabarhub.
