Kathmandu’s minimum temperature plummets to 8 degrees



KATHMANDU: The temperature in Kathmandu Valley hits a chilling low of 8 degrees, as the nation braces for a continuing drop in temperature.

According to the update from Meteorologist Raju Pradhananga of the Weather Forecasting Division, the minimum temperature in Kathmandu Valley plummeted to 8.5 degrees Celsius at 5:45 am today, indicating a steady decline from the 9.5 degrees recorded yesterday, Wednesday.

Anticipating a slight reprieve, Pradhananga forecasts that the maximum temperature in the valley will hover between 23 and 25 degrees today.
