NC holding Central Work Execution Committee meeting

KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress (NC) is holding its Central Work Execution Committee meeting today.

Chief Secretary Krishna Prasad Paudel said that the meeting scheduled to take place at the residence of party President Sher Bahadur Deuba, is expected to deliberate on crucial decisions.

In cases where an immediate central committee meeting is not feasible, the party’s statute allows the executive committee to make essential decisions.

The performance committee comprises members of the office bearers, former office bearers, and selected central members.

With the agenda set, the Nepali Congress has said that the discussion during the meeting will focus on the recent Jajarkot earthquake and pertinent developments within the current political landscape.
