Deadly 6.4 magnitude earthquake strikes Jajarkot, leaving 50 dead



JAJARKOT: At least 50 people lost their lives in the devastating earthquake that rocked Jajarkot last night, causing significant structural damage and leading to the collapse of numerous buildings.

The powerful tremors also resulted in hundreds of injuries in the affected area.

The impact of the earthquake was felt across Jajarkot and Rukum West, inflicting significant human casualties and material devastation.

Confirming the distressing toll, authorities stated that the death toll had risen to 50 across the two districts.

The National Earthquake Measurement Center reported that the earthquake, measuring 6.4 on the Richter scale, struck Jajarkot precisely at 11:47 PM on Friday night, triggering widespread panic and chaos.
