HoR meeting taking place today

Bill on Banking Offenses and Punishment to be tabled



KATHMANDU: A meeting of the House of Representatives (HoR) is taking place today afternoon.

During the meeting, Speaker Devraj Ghimire will announce the receipt of a letter from the Office of the Prime Minister and the Council of Ministers, which will cover various assignments and the Secretary General of the United Nations address.

Moreover, on the agenda for today, Finance Minister Dr. Prakash Sharan Mahat is scheduled to present the Banking Offenses and Punishment (Second Amendment) Bill, 2080, alongside the Customs Bill, 2080.

In addition, Foreign Minister NP Saud is scheduled to put forth a proposal concerning the approval of the BIMSTEC Charter.
