Chief Justice Shrestha leaves for China



KATHMANDU: The team led by Chief Justice Bishowambhar Prasad Shrestha has left for China on Saturday.

On the invitation of his Chinese counterpart, Shrestha left with a team of army officials.

During the visit, there is a program of formal meetings with the Chief Justice of the Supreme People’s Court of China and officials of the High Court and discussions on the areas of mutual cooperation related to the law and justice system.

Supreme Court Judge Dr. Anand Mohan Bhattarai, Chief Registrar Lal Bahadur Kunwar, and others are on the team. The Shrestha-led team is scheduled to return home on November 3 after the tour.
