KATHMANDU: Dharmendra Bastola, the leader and spokesperson of the Revolutionary Communist Party, has been held in police custody for the past eight days.
Bastola is currently in the police custody of Bhaluwang Police Office in Dang.
According to the police, a motorcycle rider died when the vehicle he was driving hit a motorcycle some eight days ago.
The vehicle (Ba 9 Cha 7198) hit the motorcycle near Rapti Village-5 Singepal along the East-West Highway.
It was reported that the vehicle hit the motorcycle (Ra 6 Pa 5738) leading to the death of Basantram Chaudhary, a resident of Rapti Rural Municipality-5 in Dang.
