As of Wednesday morning, the weather is predominantly clear in the hilly areas, while the rest of the country is experiencing generally clear conditions.
Meteorologists have said that partial cloud cover implies that approximately 26 to 50 percent of the sky is veiled by clouds, allowing the sun to be visible even during cloudy intervals.
The term ‘generally clear’ indicates an almost cloudless sky, as mentioned by the Division’s weather forecast bulletin today.
The weather is anticipated to remain generally clear across the country, with a possibility of some changes in the hilly areas during the afternoon.
There might be occasional light rain accompanied by thunder or lightning in a few places over the hilly areas.
Additionally, there’s a chance of light snowfall in select regions of high hills and the Himalayas.
During the night, the weather is expected to be partly cloudy in the hilly regions while remaining generally clear in other parts of the country.
