Sudurpaschim government, FNCCI agree for collaboration



KATHMANDU: The Sudurpaschim Province government and the Federation of Nepalese Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for collaboration in investment promotion and the operation of development affairs, particularly in the province.

The agreement was signed by Province Chief Minister Kamal Bahadur Shah and FNCCI President Chandra Prasad Dhakal amidst a function at the FNCCI.

As per the agreement, both parties are expected to work together to promote investments and accelerate economic activities in the province.

Likewise, the Sudurpaschim Investment and Development Summit will be jointly hosted on March 6-7.

On the occasion, the FNCCI President pledged all sorts of possible support to make the event a success.

He also reminded the decision of the meeting of the FNCCI third executive committee to hold an ‘investment summit’ in all provinces and this was the first understanding with the Sudurpaschim Province to implement the decision.

Likewise, the Chief Minister was hopeful that the event would be successful to attract investments to the province.
