Two people die in Jhapa accident



JHAPA: Two people died in a road accident Khudunabari of Arjundhara Municipality-3, in Jhapa.

According to Navaraj Neupane, Chief of District Traffic Police Office, Jhapa, scooter rider Yam Bhattarai, 35, of Arjundhara-2 and pillion rider Roshan Lungli, 36, of the same place, died when a mini truck hit the scooter.

Police said that Bhattarai died on the spot and Lungeli died at B&C Hospital in Birtamod during treatment.

Police arrested Hem Bahadur Shrestha, 25, of Arjundhara-2, the driver of the mini truck.
