Mahottari’s Trishuli Devi temple opened for public



JALESWOR: Trishuli Devi Temple, a famous shrine in Jaleshwor, has been opened for public.

The temple was opened on the occasion of the Bada Dashain festival that formally commenced from today.

According to temple priest Upendra Pathak, public are allowed to directly pay homage to the deity Trishuli Devi twice in a year: during the Bada Dashain and the Chaite Dashain festivals.

With the opening of the temple, devotees have thronged here since 4:00 am today to pay homage to the deity.

The temple is located on the premises of Jaleshwornath Mahadev Temple.

The goddess Trishuli Devi is highly revered in Mahottari, attracting devotees not only from the district but also from outside the district and neighboring areas in India, it is said.
