KATHMANDU: The eastern and central parts of the country are currently facing a partial influence of monsoon air, the Weather Forecast Division has said.
According to the Division, the weather will be generally clear in the rest of the country with partial to moderate showers in the hilly parts of the country today afternoon.
During the afternoon, there is a possibility of light rain with thunder/lightning at a few places in Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki Provinces and one/two places in the hilly areas of Sudurpaschim and Karnali Provinces.
According to the Division, the weather will remain generally clear in the hilly areas of the country at night with partial to moderate showers.
With the withdrawal of monsoon from most parts of Nepal, rainfall has decreased drastically.
According to Ganga Nagarkoti, a meteorologist at the Division, Kathmanduites have started feeling cold gradually.
