Youths manhandle and smear black dust at Durga Prasai

KATHMANDU: Businessperson Durga Prasai has been manhandled and smeared with soot by a group of youths close to CPN-UML.

Prasai was assaulted and the black dust was smeared on his face while he was joining a press conference in a hotel in Jamal.

He said on Monday morning that he would go to rescue the stranded Nepalis in Israel.

In recent times, Prasai has been protesting with the demands for waiver of loans from banks, microfinance, and cooperatives.
