KAILALI: The CPN-UML is holding its Sudurpaschim Province convention today in Dhangadhi.
The inaugural session of the convention will be attended by UML Chairman KP Oli, who is scheduled to inaugurate the event for the party.
Joining Chairman Oli, other notable figures from the CPN-UML leadership, such as Party General Secretary Shankar Pokharel, Party Secretary and Karnali In-charge Lekhraj Bhatta, and various prominent leaders, will be in attendance to participate in this momentous gathering.
Following the opening session, a closed-door session, featuring deliberations and discussions, is slated to commence, marking a pivotal moment in the party’s regional activities.
In the lead-up to this convention, several party leaders, including Krishna Prasad Jaisi, Kamal Timilsina, and Bachan Bahadur Singh, have laid claim to the coveted position of Chairman of the Province, setting the stage for an intriguing and closely watched event.
