Lucky Film Awards to be held on October 12

KATHMANDU: The Nplus Professional Lucky Film Awards ceremony is set to take place in Chitwan on October 12.

The awards are presented by Lucky Media House under the title of ‘Lucky Filmy Awards 2080.’

This marks the first time such an event will be held in Chitwan, according to the organizers.

The organizers have announced the top five nominations in categories including best actress, actor, director, film, singer (male and female), musician, scriptwriter, cinematographer, and editor.

Hari Karki ‘Lucky,’ the coordinator of the awards and the general manager of Lucky Media House, has stated that the awards ceremony will be held at Chitwan Cineplex CG Mall in Bharatpur.

Senior filmmaker, writer, and director Mohan Niraula is serving as the coordinator of the awards jury, while senior journalist and lyricist Shantipriya and senior journalist and director Bijay Ratna Tuladhar are the members.

Established in Chitwan in 2014, Lucky Media House has been organizing various programs to promote and develop the Nepali film sector.
