PM Dahal about direct flights from China to Pokhara International Airport



KATHMANDU: Prime Minister (PM) Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda expressed his optimism regarding the prospect of establishing direct air connections between China and Pokhara International Airport.

He emphasized the significance of enhancing people-to-people relations between Nepal and China and fostering collaboration in the aviation sector between the two nations.

PM Dahal made these remarks during a press briefing upon his return to Tribhuvan International Airport on Saturday.

He revealed that discussions during his recent visit encompassed various aspects, including trade, investments, the international transportation network, and the augmentation of economic and social partnerships with China.

Prime Minister Prachanda also disclosed that the Chinese authorities have shown a willingness to commence the fourth phase of the highway repair project on the Kathmandu-Tatopani road.
