VP Yadav stresses institutionalizing federalism

ATHMANDU: Vice President Ram Sahaya Prasad Yadav has expressed his best wishes for the prosperity and sustainable development of the country on the occasion of Constitution Day, 2080.

In a message today on the occasion, the Vice President has said that everyone should work to realize the socialism-oriented economic social system and inclusiveness as specified in letter and spirit of the Constitution.

He also draws attention of all sides concerned to institutionalize the federal system of governance and empower the provinces according to the constitution.

Stating that there some delay in the delegation of power and resources to the province and local levels, the Vice President has said it is necessary and inevitable to institutionalize the federal system by empowering the province and local level as per the constitution.

The Vice President Yadav has also expressed his concern over the increasing number of young people going abroad for foreign employment and has called on all stakeholders to create employment opportunities in the country.
