KATHMANDU: The meeting of the House of Representatives which was earlier scheduled for Wednesday will take place on Thursday.

Today’s meeting was postponed due to the untimely demise of Constituent Assembly Chairman and former Speaker Subash Chandra Nembang.

Nemwang, who was also a member of the House of Representatives, died on Tuesday night during treatment due to a heart attack.

According to the General Secretary of the Federal Parliament, Dr. Bharat Raj Gautam, the meeting has been rescheduled for 3 p.m. on Thursday.
