PM Dahal to lead 24-member delegation to UN General Assembly



KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda is leading a 24-member delegation to the United Nations General Assembly.

PM Dahal is set to visit the United States of America on September 16 to participate in the UN General Assembly.

Prime Minister Dahal will deliver his address during the 78th session of the General Assembly on September 21.

According to sources, PM Daha’s team will consist of Haribol Gajurel, Chief Advisor to the Prime Minister, along with his personal secretaries Ganga Dahal, Ramesh Malla, Press Advisor Govinda Acharya, personal photographer Pradipraj Onta, personal videographer Navaraj Dahal, private doctor Dr. Yuvraj Sharma, and three security personnel.

Chief Secretary Baikuntha Aryal and Prime Minister’s Security Adviser Shankardas Bairagi are part of the visiting delegation.

Similarly, the delegation will include Foreign Minister NP Saud, his private secretary Deepak Joshi, Foreign Secretary Bharatraj Paudyal, Joint Secretary Sewa Lamsal, and other representatives.

While in New York, Prime Minister Dahal will have a busy schedule that includes participation in events, according to Foreign Minister Saud.

These events encompass the Sustainable Development Goals Conference, Climate Ambition Summit, and other vital agendas.

Prime Minister Dahal will also attend a dinner hosted by US President Joe Biden.

During his stay in New York, Prime Minister Dahal is scheduled to participate in high-level programs with other important agendas, including the Sustainable Development Goals Conference, Climate Ambition Summit, and other important agendas, Foreign Minister Saud informed.
