Surkhet Forest Division Office Chief arrested for graft



SURKHET: Chief of Forest Division office Surkhet, Bhakta Bahadur Lama has been arrested on Friday on the charge of taking a bribe of Rs 400 thousand.

According to the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA), Surkhet office spokesperson Megh Nath Sapkota, they took him under control while he was taking the bribe amount from the service-seeker.

The CIAA was acting on a tip-off that Lama was asking for a commission from the service-seeker.

He was arrested red-handed from the office.
