Former PM Madhav Nepal returning home today



KATHMANDU: Chairman of the Unified Socialist Party and former Prime Minister, Madhav Kumar Nepal, is set to return to Nepal from Europe today, following the cancellation of his scheduled programs.

Having departed for Nepal on August 7, Madhav Kumar Nepal initially embarked on a journey to participate in a program organized by the Transmigrant Nepali Ekta Manch Europe, held across Switzerland and other European countries.

His departure for Europe took place on the day subsequent to the Supreme Court’s issuance of an inquiry into the Lalita Niwas land grab case.

Initially slated to conclude his European visit and return home on August 26, the former Prime Minister decided to modify his plans.

According to his Secretariat, Madhav Nepal remains well-informed regarding the orders issued by the Supreme Court.
