Three players provided monetary assistance



KATHMANDU: The National Sports Welfare Fund has provided monetary assistance to three players.

Selisha Khadgi and Chandan Shahi, both table tennis players, along with Anju Khadka from the athletics, received the assistance.

Selisha is currently under medical care in India for cancer. Fund chair and National Sports Council member secretary, Tankalal Ghising, handed a cheque of Rs 200,000 to her brother.

Similarly, Chandan is currently receiving treatment at National Trauma Centre for a physical illness. She was provided Rs 100,000 by the Fund.

Anju who survived a scooter accident recently received Rs 100,000. She has been admitted to the KMC Hospital.
