RSP Chairman Lamichhane accuses govt of not giving business to parliament

CHITWAN: Chairman of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), Rabi Lamichhane, has lambasted the government for its failure to give business to parliament.

Talking to media persons at Bharatpur airport here today, Chairman Lamichhane viewed parliament as not getting business at a time when the country was in need of several laws.

“Government however seems active in case of corruption control. There are some positive signals about it. But, these are not sufficient,” Chairman Lamichhane said, adding that there are several indicators to evaluate government performance.

Moreover, he commented that the government failed to work up to the mark in the case of gold smuggling because only porters were arrested and owners fled.

On a different note, he informed that his party would not allow entry to wrong elements and people.
