Four individuals arrested for operating illegal clinics in Dhangadhi



KAILALI: A joint investigation team from the Ministry of Social Development and the District Police Office conducted a raid, leading to the apprehension of four individuals running unauthorized health clinics in Dhangadhi Sub-metropolitan City-2 and 3.

Among those arrested are 30-year-old Amar Chaudhary, the proprietor of Everest Medical, and 25-year-old Naveen Dhami, who was operating Manvi Hamro Medical Pharmacy in Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan City-3.

Additionally, Deepak Mahara, aged 33, was found to be running Farwest Pathology in Ward No. 3, while 73-year-old Gorakh Bahadur Shrestha was operating Resmi Clinic Pharmacy in Ward No. 2.

According to Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Kuldeep Chand, spokesperson for Kailali, the arrests were made as the individuals had failed to obtain the necessary operating permits as required by the existing law.
