Woman shot dead at Nepal-India border



JANAKPURDHAM: A woman was shot dead in the “no man’s land” of Musaharniya area in the border village of Dhanusha.

Two rounds of bullets were fired at the woman by an unknown group last night, police said.

The identity of the woman who died on the spot has not been revealed.

Dhanusha Police Chief SP Bishwaraj Khadka said that the woman’s body was taken away by the Indian police as the incident happened on Indian land.

SP Khadka said that the people involved in the attack fled toward India.
