Nepali Army disposes suspicious object in Sinamangal



KATHMANDU: The Nepali Army (NA) disposed of a suspicious object that was found in Sinamangal, Kathmandu.

According to SP Sitaram Rijal from the District Police Circle in Kathmandu, the object was found on a road leading to Old Baneswar from Kathmandu Medical College in Sinamangal.

The bomb disposal team of the Nepali Army safely deactivated the item on Wednesday morning.

The suspicious item was located in front of Khotang Halesi Jewellers and was accompanied by a pamphlet bearing the name “Nepal Utthan Krantikari Party.”

In connection with the incident, the police have arrested one person who is currently under investigation.
