NC CWC meeting: Central Committee members voicing opinions

KATHMANDU: The Nepali Congress (NC) will proceed with its central working committee (CWC) meeting, which commenced on Tuesday and is scheduled to continue today.

During today’s session at the party’s central office in Sanepa, the central committee members will have the opportunity to express their opinions on the ten agendas presented by General Secretary Bishwa Prakash Sharma during Tuesday’s meeting.

With 158 out of the 168 central members currently present in the Nepali Congress party, each member will be allotted at least five minutes to share their views and suggestions on the agendas brought forth by Sharma.

The much-anticipated central committee meeting of the Nepali Congress commenced in Lalitpur on Tuesday.

Spanning over several days, this crucial meeting is expected to witness intense debates between rival factions, as discontent grows over the party’s management and its role in the government.

What adds an intriguing element to this historic event is the party’s decision to live-stream the meeting on social media, marking a notable display of transparency in the party.
